Yes! That's the beauty of having a celebrant. Gardens, beaches, woodlands, your favourite pub, a dramatic clifftop, your own living room – anywhere that's special to you. The only limits are practical (accessibility, weather backup plans) rather than legal.

We'll always have a backup plan. This might be moving indoors, setting up a marquee, or embracing the rain with umbrellas and a sense of adventure. I'm relaxed and flexible – whatever happens, we'll make it work.

Absolutely. This is your ceremony – you can include whatever readings, poems, songs, or other elements feel meaningful to you. I'll help you choose if you'd like guidance.

These are meaningful actions within your ceremony that represent your commitment – things like handfasting (binding your hands with ribbon), unity candles (lighting one candle together from two separate flames), sand ceremonies (pouring different coloured sands together), or ring warming (passing your rings through your guests). We can include traditional rituals or create something unique to you.

It's not essential, but many couples find it helpful. A rehearsal lets you walk through the ceremony in your actual venue, practice the logistics, and iron out any nerves. Rehearsals are an optional extra (not included in the base fee) but they can be really valuable, especially if you're including multiple people or complex elements.
